CONFERENCE CELEBRATING
The world has changed in many ways: huge waves of refugees; unprecedented numbers of terrorist attacks; surprising election results that clash with old certainties and re-organize our perception of the immediate environment. Indeed, the world is moving with great speed and this movement is also challenging the identity of our profession. Neuroscientific contributions from recent decades have added greatly to our sense of our work, giving it new weight and further shifting the focus to corporeality and movement. But where are we going as a profession? What is our identity, our professional culture? Prevention? Psychotherapy? Clinical work?…. We witness so many dances, so many varied forms of movement from our students and clients. But what is it that moves us?
